/v1/images/edits accepts a mask upload but silently ignores it

The edits endpoint declares a mask upload but never reads it, so inpainting requests behave like unmasked edits.

What Badgr ran

Searched SGLang main (f9cee8d) for the mask in the edits handler. Not run against a diffusion model.

What came back

  • In image_api.py, "mask" appears once: the parameter declaration (line 390).

A code reading, not a run: no diffusion server was started.

Checked 2026-10-11 in Badgr’s local development environment.
