too slow (35 minutes for a video of 1/4 seconds) on Mac mini Unified 16G

On a Mac mini with 16 GB, SeedVR2 takes about 35 minutes for a quarter-second clip.

What Badgr ran

Nothing was run: the reporter's clip, model and workflow were not provided as files.

What came back

  • Per-frame times were 62 s (phase 1), 39 s (phase 2) and 134 s (phase 3).

A rented-GPU run of the same clip would give the time and price per finished minute.

Checked 2026-10-14 in Badgr’s local development environment.
