A delivery-none isolated cron job that spawns a subagent never gets the child's result back.

Inspected the OpenClaw 2026.9.9 build for how descendant results are awaited. Not run: the reproduction needs a Claude CLI parent and an OpenAI subagent with provider credentials.

What came back

  • Delivery finalisation and descendant waiting are gated on deliveryRequested in the shipped build, as the issue describes.

A code reading, not a reproduction.

Checked 2026-10-11 in Badgr’s local development environment.
