Sync threads.stream() ignores run_start_timeout

Reproduced

The synchronous threads.stream() path waits on a fixed start gate and ignores the caller's run_start_timeout.

What Badgr ran

Ran the issue's reproduction code as written against the installed langgraph SDK, locally on CPU.

What came back

  • It raised TimeoutError('Sync run.start gate timeout.') after 30.0 s, the built-in value, not the shorter timeout the caller set.

One run. Only the first failure was captured, so the page does not show the async path for comparison.

Checked 2026-10-11 in Badgr’s local development environment.
