SeedVR2 FP8 outputs a black image with --fast fp16_accumulation: FP16 overflows to infinity

With --fast fp16_accumulation, the SeedVR2 7B FP8 workflow produces a black image because FP16 overflows.

What Badgr ran

Nothing was run: it needs ComfyUI at the reporter's commit, the 7B FP8 SeedVR2 model and VAE, and the UI template converted into an API workflow; that conversion was not built.

What came back

  • The report includes the full ComfyUI debug log.

A run would compare --fast fp16_accumulation on and off on one GPU.

Checked 2026-10-14 in Badgr’s local development environment.
