[Windows][RTX 3060 12GB] MiniMax-H3 repeatedly freezes entire PC; no recent dump, NVFP4 encoder/offload log ends abruptly

Running MiniMax-H3 on a Windows 11 machine with an RTX 3060 12 GB and 64 GB RAM freezes the whole PC, with no Python or CUDA error.

What Badgr ran

Nothing was run. The report is a Windows desktop freeze that includes custom nodes, a third-party text encoder variant, and a local Gradio wrapper; the reporter says a clean reproduction has not been established and no workflow was attached.

What came back

  • The issue itself states it is observed behavior, not a confirmed ComfyUI bug, and that hardware has not been ruled out.
  • RunPod's Linux GPUs cannot reproduce a Windows whole-machine freeze, and without the workflow there is nothing to run on a larger card.

If the reporter shares the workflow, running it on a larger GPU would show whether the model itself needs more than 12 GB, which is the useful question for them.
