comfyui server unresponsive after the same workflow ran several times

Not reproduced

After the same workflow has finished several times, the ComfyUI server stops responding to API calls (read timeout) with no console message.

What Badgr ran

Launched ComfyUI through Badgr on an RTX 4090 and submitted the baseline SDXL workflow to /prompt three times in a row (new seed each time), polling /history.

What came back

  • 3 of 3 jobs completed with status success in about 6 s each; the server stayed responsive.

Three short jobs do not reproduce a hang that appears after many runs. A second badgr comfyui run for the same workload was refused by Badgr's "already running" guard, which is intended and not a ComfyUI result.

Checked 2026-10-14 in Badgr’s local development environment.
